PCKA possesses the capability to extend proofs of concepts established through MS&A to hardware realizations and has done so for many of the system components that PCKA has designed under government and industrial funding. PCKA brings technologies to TRL 6, field-ready prototypes for our customers, and can transition these designs to a 3rd party production with minimal redesign. PCKA has a range of hardware prototyping and testing capabilities including the ability to fabricate and test power-electronic designs from several watts to hundreds of kilowatts and the ability to design, specify, procure, assemble, and test motors, generators, and actuators in the same power range. In addition to fabrication and test capabilities, PCKA staff has significant expertise in the specification and implementation of custom measurement and data acquisition systems along with their associated user interfaces. Finally, to meet needs beyond our internal capabilities, PCKA maintains relationships with an extensive network of companies and personnel whose capabilities complement our own, which enables PCKA to meet most prototyping needs in the areas of power electronics, machines, and thermal solutions with unmatched engineering expertise at competitive costs.
