In 2007, he received his PhD from Syracuse University following 11 years of rotorcraft industry experience with Bell Helicopter. While there, he spent six years developing and integrating physics-based simulation models into real-time flight simulators for both manned and unmanned aircraft. His industry and research experiences include rotor dynamics, multi-body dynamics and fly-by-wire flight control systems. In March 2008, he joined PCKA to help coordinate a collaborative research project involving the Air Force Research Laboratory and several major aerospace companies.
